Role Summary
Zalaris is looking for a commercially driven Sales Director to lead strategic growth across the Nordic region, with a primary focus on the Swedish and Danish markets. This role is centred on developing and expanding our HR & Payroll Managed Services portfolio, combining strategic sales leadership with a strong business development mindset.
As a Sales Director, you operate as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, identifying opportunities, challenging customer thinking, and positioning Zalaris as a long-term partner. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth through new business, expansion within existing accounts, and strengthening our market presence.
You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Service Delivery, Consulting, and regional leadership teams, to ensure a cohesive and high-quality customer experience across the full customer lifecycle.
This is a strategic, high-impact role with end-to-end ownership of the sales agenda across your markets.
Your Responsibilities
- Drive sales strategy and revenue growth across the Swedish and Danish markets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within HR & Payroll Managed Services
- Lead commercial discussions, negotiations, and contract processes
- Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline, ensuring consistent performance and forecasting accuracy
- Collaborate with internal teams to align customer needs with service offerings and ensure successful outcomes
- Act as a market ambassador for Zalaris, strengthening brand positioning and market presence
- Provide strategic input into market expansion, go-to-market approach, and offering development
Your Experience and Skills
- Proven experience as strategic account manager in complex, global environments.
- Strong commercial mindset with demonstrated success in upsell, renewals, and business development.
- Understanding of HRM, including Payroll, Time & Attendance, Workforce Management, Travel & Expense, and HCM platforms (Workday, SuccessFactors, Oracle).
- Experience with Managed Services / Outsourcing.
- Ability to engage confidently with senior HR stakeholders (CHRO level).
- Analytical and advisory skills — able to build business cases and challenge customer thinking.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills; comfortable leading governance forums.
- A proactive, entrepreneurial “can-do” attitude and strong accountability for customer success.
- Bonus: Backgrounds from top tier management consulting with strong PowerPoint, Excel, CRM, Power BI & AI tool proficiency.
