Hilde Trageton
My name is Hilde Trageton and I'm the VP Global PMO at Zalaris. I joined #teamZalaris in May 2021.
For me, Zalaris is a company of just the right size. The company is still relatively young - small, yet very innovative. We are constantly changing to make our solutions better and improve our ways of working. At the same time, we are sufficiently large to make employees really feel part of an international team, and we have been around long enough to have an impressive collection of clients.
As a VP Global PMO, I lead a team of project managers and test managers based in five different countries, as well as follow up the portfolio of ongoing client transformation projects for Managed Services. I'm really proud when people in my PMO team receive great feedback from our clients.
I joined Zalaris in a new role that no one had before me, so it feels like the role has changed almost constantly as I've discovered new challenges, started different improvement initiatives and defined my responsibilities more clearly.
If you want to pursue a career in Project Management, you should aim high and dare to step outside of your comfort zone. Don't be afraid to ask for help from your teammates and managers. The projects I remember best are definitely not the easy ones.
Being surrounded by colleagues who really know what they are doing, and knowing that there is always someone who is willing and able to help me out when needed - that's what I like most about being part of #teamZalaris.
