Position Summary

Are you interested in Payroll Accounting field? Are you looking for an opportunity to work cross-borders, in a team where everyone together supports the operational work? Join us and become part of our Accounting team in Riga. Zalaris is a leading European provider of comprehensive HR and Payroll services, delivered through innovative Cloud-based solutions. 

Your Responsibilities

  • Perform reconciliation tasks, incl. resolving discrepancies
  • Perform bookings in accounting
  • Perform payroll processing
  • Perform travel and expense processing
  • Process bank payments
  • Monitor bank and accounting interfaces
  • Follow up with customers, suppliers and banks
  • Provide customer service via service requests
  • Ensure up to date documentation
  • Identify improvement and digitalization possibilities in the processes

Skills

  • Previous work experience in payroll and / or accounting
  • Education in finance and accounting related field
  • Professional working proficiency in English language, knowledge of Scandinavian or German language is an advantage
  • Professional proficiency with MS Office programs
  • Accuracy, attention to dead-lines and aptitude for numbers
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to efficiently collaborate within a team
  • Experience with SAP will be considered as an advantage
