Responsibilities

 

  1. Interface Development:

    • Responsible to create inbound and outbound interfaces between SAP and non-SAP systems. These interfaces allow seamless data exchange.
    • Demonstrate strong design and development skills using SAP Cloud Platform Integration.
    • Develop inbound and outbound interfaces to/from the cloud to On-Premises and Cloud instances of SAP Products.
    • Your job involves configuring CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) flows. This includes extending standard integration flows (iFlows) and creating custom ones.
    • Integration adapters become your best friends. You use them to support message exchange in SAP CPI. These adapters cover various protocols like SFTP, IDOC, SOAP, HTTP, ODATA, and REST.
  2. Value Mapping and Data Conversion:

    • You’re the magician behind data transformations. Whether it’s converting JSON to XML or CSV to XML, you handle it.
    • Additionally, you develop Groovy scripts for iFlows to ensure smooth data handling.
  3. Palette Options and Message Processing:

    • Within the CPI palette, you work on message transformations, enrichment, and splitting. Think of it as your creative canvas for crafting integration solutions.
  4. Security and BTP (Business Technology Platform):

    • You’re familiar with SAP BTP and its security artifacts. Encryption, decryption, and managing SSH keys are part of your toolkit.
    • If you’ve dealt with EDI integrations or have some ABAP knowledge, that’s a bonus.
  5. Collaboration and Best Practices:

    • You closely collaborate with architects, product owners, and project managers. Teamwork makes the integration dream work!
    • Understanding, refining, and complying with integration patterns, standards, and guidelines are essential.

 

Skills and Experience

  • Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree with 4+ years of IT experience.
  • Success Factors - Experience must
  • Possess at least 2+ years of experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration.
  • Configure and extend standard iFlows.
  • Define custom iFlows, local & exception sub-processes, and handle exceptions.
  • Exhibit expertise in handling various integration adapters in SAP CPI (SFSF, ODATA, SFTP, IDOC, SOAP, HTTP, Process Direct, REST Adapters) to exchange messages between sender and receiver.
  • Develop value mapping and Groovy scripts for use in iFlows.
  • Handle different data conversions like JSON to XML, CSV to XML, etc.
  • Utilize various CPI pallet options (integration patterns – message transformations, enricher, splitter, etc.) and have experience with SAP BTP.
  • Manage security artifacts, encryption, decryption mechanisms, and SSH keys.
  • Have hands-on development experience in technologies including UI5, Java, JavaScript, Node.js, or Express.js.
  • Possess strong SAP/SuccessFactors API knowledge and/or experience.
  • Have good knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors standard integrations.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills.
  • Have experience working in SuccessFactors integration end-to-end scenarios.
