Your Mission and Role
As a Strategic KAM at Zalaris, you take full accountability for the customer journey—from contract handover to renewal and expansion. You operate as a trusted advisor, guiding HR leaders across Finland, ensuring seamless service delivery, and proactively identifying opportunities for improvement, innovation, and upsell opportunities.
You will lead our governance model with confidence, navigate a dynamic matrix organisation, and collaborate closely with Service Delivery teams, HR specialists, consultants, and executive sponsors to secure an outstanding customer experience and sustained business growth.
Your Responsibilities
- Own key customer relationships, contracts, P&Ls, and strategic account plans.
- Drive renewals, upselling, cross-selling, and expansion into new markets and services.
- Facilitate tactical and strategic governance meetings, ensuring clarity, alignment, and execution.
- Act as the primary point of contact for strategic customers, using your SAP HR and Payroll outsourcing expertise to advise, challenge and support continuous improvement.
- Identify root causes, improvement opportunities, and business cases that create measurable value.
- Lead opportunity development and manage the commercial pipeline.
- Champion customer success internally and navigate the matrix organisation to deliver results.
Your Experience and Skills
- Proven experience in Key Account Management within an HR & Payroll outsourcing (BPO) in complex, global environments.
- Strong commercial mindset with demonstrated success in upselling, renewals, and business development.

Strong understanding of HR and Payroll operations, including Payroll, Time & Attendance, Workforce Management, Travel & Expense, and HCM platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, and Oracle.
- Ability to engage confidently with senior HR stakeholders, including CHRO-level executives.
- Strong analytical and advisory skills, with the ability to build business cases and challenge customer thinking.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the confidence to lead governance forums.
- A proactive, entrepreneurial, can-do attitude and strong accountability for customer success.

Ideally, you will bring: Background in a top-tier management consulting firm, combined with strong PowerPoint, Excel, CRM, Power BI, and AI tool proficiency.
