We are currently seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to join our experienced team in Granada/ Spain. In this role, you will support a range of international clients and ensure smooth, accurate payroll processing across multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute timely and accurate payroll processing for client employees using SAP Payroll
  • Manage and maintain salary-related data in SAP for your assigned client portfolio
  • Ensure precise and compliant payroll calculations in close cooperation with HR, finance, and other relevant departments
  • Provide expert guidance to clients on tax and social security matters, maintaining direct contact with social security institutions and authorities
  • Conduct payroll audits and contribute to the ongoing improvement of payroll processes
  • Stay current with applicable payroll regulations and ensure compliance
  • Deliver reports and audits, and offer consultative support to clients
  • Act as the primary contact for all client inquiries and issues related to payroll

Education and Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in Spanish payroll accounting, with hands-on use of SAP Payroll
  • Strong knowledge of the SAP HCM Payroll module
  • Solid understanding of Spanish tax and social security legislation
  • Familiarity with collective bargaining agreements and company pension schemes; experience with expatriate payroll and wage garnishments is a plus
  • Service-oriented, reliable, and structured approach to work
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Confident user of MS Office and open to new technologies
  • Fluent in Spanish and proficient in English
