Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced AMS Senior Specialist with Polish Payroll expertise to join our Managed Services / Application Management Services team in Poland on a full-time basis.In this role, you will take end-to-end responsibility for supporting Zalaris Managed Services customers in the area of Polish payroll specifics. You will ensure stable, compliant and high-quality service delivery across daily support, incidents, change requests, legal updates, testing, payroll-related advisory and continuous improvement activities.You will act as a senior subject-matter expert and ownership point for Polish PY topics, making sure that customer needs are understood, prioritized, coordinated and resolved effectively in cooperation with payroll, HR, IT and international AMS teams.

Your Responsibilities

  • Take end-to-end ownership of Polish Payroll-related AMS support for assigned Managed Services customers.
  • Act as a senior point of contact and trusted advisor for customers in the area of Polish PY specifics, including legal, operational and system-related topics.
  • Ensure high-quality delivery of AMS services, including incident handling, service requests, change requests, problem management, testing, stabilisation and system optimisation.
  • Coordinate and follow up on Polish PY-related topics across internal teams, ensuring clear ownership, timely communication and effective resolution.
  • Analyse complex customer issues and translate them into practical solutions within the SAP HCM Payroll environment.
  • Configure, validate and support enhancements in SAP HCM Payroll, with a focus on Polish payroll requirements and customer-specific processes.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with Polish payroll-related regulations, including labour law, tax, social security, reporting obligations and legal changes.
  • Support payroll year-end activities, legal updates, regression testing and customer-specific payroll calendar processes.
  • Identify risks, recurring issues and improvement opportunities within Managed Services delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement, standardisation and knowledge sharing for Polish PY processes within AMS.
  • Cooperate closely with Payroll Operations, HR, IT, Product, Consulting and international AMS teams.
  • Support junior colleagues through mentoring, knowledge transfer and quality review of Polish PY-related topics.

Your Experience and Skills

  • Senior-level, hands-on experience in SAP HCM Payroll, preferably in an outsourcing, AMS, BPO or Managed Services environment.
  • Strong practical expertise in Polish Payroll / SAP HCM PY for Polish customers.
  • Very good understanding of Polish payroll legislation, including ZUS, PIT, labour law, reporting obligations and payroll compliance requirements.
  • Experience in taking ownership of customer topics in a support or managed services model, including prioritisation, coordination and follow-up.
  • Good understanding of AMS processes such as incident management, change request handling, problem management, testing and service quality monitoring.
  • Ability to analyse complex payroll and SAP HCM issues and propose effective, customer-oriented solutions.
  • Solid understanding of integration with other SAP HCM areas, especially PA, OM and Time Management, will be an advantage.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple customer topics and priorities in parallel.
  • Fluent Polish, native or near-native level, is mandatory.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with local and global teams.
