Job Title:  Functional Solution Architect

Role Summary

As a Functional Solution Architect, you will be at the forefront of designing, innovating, and implementing scalable Managed Services solutions for global clients in the Payroll and HR outsourcing space. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Business Process Outsourcing offerings, leveraging your deep understanding of SAP HCM and SuccessFactors to deliver value-driven, client-centric solutions.

Your Responsibilities

• Solution Design: Architect end-to-end functional solutions for Managed Services in Payroll and HR, aligning with our Zalaris standard solutions and guidelines
• Innovation & Optimization: Continuously improve existing service offerings and develop new capabilities that enhance efficiency, compliance, user experience and process standardization
• Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients to understand their business processes, pain points, and transformation goals; translate these into functional designs and advise the client with the right solutioning
• SAP Expertise: Leverage deep knowledge of SAP HCM Payroll or Time and integration frameworks to design robust, scalable solutions.
• Implementation Leadership: Guide project implementation teams through solution realization ensuring alignment with architectural Zalaris standards, guidelines and client expectations
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales for pre-sales activities, operations and IT colleagues to ensure seamless solution delivery and maintenance
• Coaching & Mentorship: Train and mentor more junior colleagues and successfully distribute own competencies to lower job grade team members with less experience
• Drive efficiency: Reduce hours/costs used to deliver standard units of measure (e.g. one project, one wage type)

Your Experience, Skills and Competencies

Experience & Technical Skills

• Ability to drive the architectural design of our Zalaris offerings
• Proven experience as SAP Payroll or Time Consultant including business process analysis, system configuration, documentation and production support
• Strong understanding of global payroll processes, compliance requirements, and service delivery models
• Deep understanding of the data integration flows and data migration strategies
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written
• Proactive and self-driven
• Team player with coaching and mentoring skills
