Role Summary

Join our dynamic Payroll Accounting & Reimbursement Team at Zalaris Denmark as a Reimbursement Specialist and play a key role in ensuring our customers’ employees are accurately and promptly reimbursed and paid. This is a unique opportunity to work in a professional, collaborative environment, handling all aspects of payroll accounting and reimbursement while leveraging SAP systems and contributing to the financial accuracy and compliance of our services.

Your Responsibilities

  • Process employee reimbursement requests in SAP system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Verify supporting documents such as receipts, and approvals according to company policy.
  • Collaborate with payroll, HR, and finance teams to ensure correct posting and reimbursement.
  • Maintain compliance with internal controls, company policies, and local labor regulations.
  • Track reimbursement transactions, resolve discrepancies, and provide timely updates to employees.
  • Assist in month-end reporting and reconciliation related to reimbursements in SAP Payroll.
  • Suggest process improvements to streamline SAP Payroll reimbursement workflows.

 

Experience and education

  • At least 3 years of reimbursement or Danish payroll accounting experience.
  • Fluency in Danish at a professional level is mandatory.
  • Professional working proficiency in English.
  • Familiarity with SAP Payroll or similar payroll/accounting systems is an advantage.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple requests and meet deadlines.
  • High degree of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Proactive team player with a solutions-oriented mindset.
