Role Summary

We're looking for a payroll specialist who knows Danish payroll inside out and is excited about technology, automation, and AI-enabled ways of working. Key Responsibilities

• Execute and oversee end-to-end payroll processes within SAP Payroll.
• Ensure payroll calculations are accurate, compliant, and delivered on time.
• Analyse and resolve complex payroll issues and discrepancies.
• Maintain payroll-related master data and system records.
• Validate payroll results through control checks, reconciliations, and audits.
• Prepare payroll and management reports.
• Support customers and employees with payroll-related queries.
• Monitor legislative changes and ensure payroll compliance.
• Contribute to payroll process improvements, automation, and standardisation initiatives.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and technical teams on payroll-related projects.
• Support testing activities related to system enhancements, upgrades, and regulatory changes.
• Maintain payroll documentation and operational procedures.

Experience and Skills

• Strong understanding of Danish payroll processing and payroll legislation is essential.
• Ability to analyse payroll data, identify trends, perform reconciliations, and provide customers with meaningful insights that support informed decision-making.
• Professional level English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets are required.
• Tech-savvy mindset with curiosity for automation, AI tools, and digital transformation in payroll operations.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.
• Experience working with SAP Payroll is an advantage, but not a requirement  (we will support you in building your expertise in one of the world's leading payroll platform)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Strong customer service mindset and ability to build trusted relationships.
• Experience in a payroll outsourcing, shared services, or international environment is an advantage.
