Your Responsibilities
- Accurately process payroll for our customers' employees, ensuring correct payments, tax calculations, and deductions.
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies, including issues related to taxes, balances, and vacation accruals.
- Oversee bank payment processing and ensure all payroll-related transactions are completed accurately and on time.
- Assist in handling tax corrections and payroll-related adjustments as needed.
- Contribute to the preparation of financial reports, including payroll-specific financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with payroll legislation, internal policies, and regulatory standards.
- Support the implementation of legal or regulatory changes impacting payroll processes.
- Maintain strict confidentiality when managing sensitive payroll and financial information.
- Prepare and deliver regular reports.
- Resolve queries and address issues related to all aspects of payroll accounting.
- Maintain organized physical and/or electronic payroll archives.
- Stay up to date with changes in payroll-related legislation.
- Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of payroll accounting responsibilities.
Experience and education
- At least 3 years of payroll accounting experience or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes, tax reconciliation, and relevant regulations.
- Fluency in Danish at a professional level is mandatory
- Professional working proviciency in English.
- Familiarity with payroll and accounting system as SAP or similar is an advantage
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong numerical accurancy and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to meet dedlines in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
