We are currently looking for a Senior or Mid-Payroll Specialist to join our dedicated team in Denmark. Join the team of skilled Payroll Specialists based in Taastrup, Denmark.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee end-to-end payroll processing.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll calculations, deductions, and tax compliance.
  • Handle complex payroll queries and issues, providing expert solutions.
  • Maintain and update payroll-related data.
  • Conduct payroll audits and implement process improvements.
  • Stay informed about current payroll regulations and ensure compliance. 
  • Process payroll in the system with control checks and validation.
  • Prepare and share accurate payroll reports.
  • Handle client requests through the C4C system and by phone.
  • Maintain archives.
  • Work closely with HR, Finance, and other teams to keep payroll running
  • Train and support junior team members on payroll tasks.

Experience and education

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Danish payroll processing.
  • Professional proficiency in both Danish and English (written and spoken).
  • Solid skills in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications (intermediate to advanced level).
  • Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Experience with the SAP HR module is a plus.
