Your Responsibilities

End-to-end payroll delivery– Own the full payroll cycle for assigned EMEA/EU countries, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with local statutory, tax, social-security and regulatory requirements

Payroll input & validation– Process and verify payroll data including deductions, benefits, bonuses, salary changes and off-cycle payments, applying gross-to-net checks, reconciliations and SAP payroll controls

Time & attendance– Administer absence, attendance, and time data, ensuring correct integration into the payroll run

Vendor & stakeholder coordination– Partner with internal stakeholders (HR, Finance, Reward) and external payroll providers/authorities to resolve discrepancies and meet agreed SLAs

Complex case management– Act as case manager for complex, cross-country, and multi-functional payroll issues, driving them to resolution

Service request handling– Manage service requests and employee inquiries through the C4C system and other channels, maintaining high service-quality standards

Documentation & records– Produce employment-related documentation (contracts, letters, certificates) and maintain accurate physical and electronic archives in line with GDPR and data-privacy requirements

Audit & controls– Support internal and external audits, ensuring SOX/internal controls, documentation and process compliance are complete and audit-ready

Process improvement– Identify and drive standardization, automation and operational-efficiency initiatives, contributing to system enhancements and the EMEA/EU payroll roadmap

Knowledge sharing & mentoring– Train,guide and mentor junior team members, sharing expertise and supporting capability building across the team

Perform additional tasks aligned with the primary scope of the role

Required Qualification and Experience

8–10 years of progressive experience in payroll operations, with significant exposure to multiple EMEA and EU countries. 

Hands-on, in-depth experience with SAP Payroll (SAP HCM) and SAP SuccessFactors (Employee Central / Employee Central Payroll). 

Strong knowledge of EMEA/EU payroll, tax, social-security, and labor-law requirements across several jurisdictions.
