Job Title:  HR Services Partner - German Language Expert

Role Summary

As part of our HR Services - Employee Life Cycle Management team, we are seeking a German Language Expert to support payroll operations across the employee life cycle from onboarding data and organizational structure changes through to ongoing pay administration and offboarding-related processing.

This role combines strong German language skills with payroll domain knowledge to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely service delivery for German-speaking clients and employees.You will act as a language and communication bridge between German stakeholders and internal process teams, ensuring accurate documentation, effective query resolution, and a consistently high-quality employee experience throughout each stage of the life cycle hire, change, pay, and leave.

Your Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end Employee Life Cycle Management mandates, including EDM (Employee Data Management), payroll, and travel processing requests
  • Process payroll accurately and in compliance with relevant standards, ensuring employee life cycle events (new hires, transfers, terminations, changes) are reflected correctly
  • Work closely with German-speaking customers and employees, resolving queries and delivering solutions within agreed SLAs
  • Support internal process experts by bridging German language requirements, helping the team achieve shared service delivery targets
  • Translate documents from German to English and English to German, ensuring accuracy across HR, payroll, and life cycle documentation
  • Maintain and update organizational structure data to reflect life cycle changes accurately
  • Prepare and deliver operational and management reports
  • Train and guide team members on German language usage and payroll/life cycle process nuances
  • Perform additional tasks aligned with the scope of employee life cycle and payroll operations as required

Your Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Translation, Interpreting, HR, or a related field
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience (payroll, HR services, or language/translation experience) is an advantage
  • Proficiency in German (B2–C1 level)
  • SAP experience is an advantage
  • Strong client communication skills and enjoyment of stakeholder engagement
  • Digital affinity and openness to learning new tools and processes
