Job Title:  German Payroll Specialist

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced German Payroll Specialist to join our Global Payroll team and take responsibility for delivering accurate and timely payroll-related services for employees in Germany. The role will involve managing employee and payroll data, handling payroll inputs and queries, supporting payroll processes and documentation, and resolving complex payroll-related cases.

Your Responsibilities

  • Registration and maintenance of employee data (e.g., new hires, changes, terminations, tax information, pension control)
  • Maintenance of organizational structure
  • Absence /attendance registration and handling
  • Registration of payroll data input (e.g., deductions, benefits, bonuses, new salaries)
  • Preparation and delivery of reports
  • Handling service requests through C4C system and inquiries by phone
  • Producing the contracts and other employment related documentation Maintaining physical and / or electronical archive
  • To solve problems and be a case manager for complex multi functional issues.
  • Train and guide other team members.
  • Performing any additional tasks, linked to the primary scope of the position.

Your Experience and Skills

  • 6–8 years of progressive experience in payroll operations, with strong hands-on experience in German payroll.
  • Solid knowledge of German payroll processes, statutory requirements, taxes, social security and employment-related regulations.
  • Experience managing end-to-end or significant parts of the German payroll cycle, including payroll inputs, employee data, absences, deductions, benefits and reporting.
  • Experience working with payroll systems or HRIS platforms. SAP HCM / SAP Payroll and/or SAP SuccessFactors experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Fluent English; German language skills are highly desirable.
  • Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
  • Ability to work independently, manage complex payroll cases and collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
