Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer to join our growing data team. In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize modern data pipelines and solutions using Microsoft Fabric, a unified data platform that integrates Power BI, Synapse, Data Factory. You will play a critical role in ensuring our data infrastructure supports fast, reliable, and scalable insights across the organization. 

Your Responsibilities

  • Design and build scalable data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric (Data Factory, Synapse, OneLake, etc.) 
  • Implement ETL/ELT processes to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources 
  • Develop and maintain dataflows, notebooks, pipelines, and lakehouse models in Microsoft Fabric 
  • Integrate Power BI datasets and reports with data pipelines for seamless analytics 
  • Ensure data governance, security, and compliance across all data solutions 
  • Optimize data performance and storage in OneLake and Lakehouses 
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and data scientists to understand data requirements 
  • Monitor data pipelines for failures or bottlenecks and implement corrective measures 

Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles 
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric components: Data Factory, Synapse, Lakehouse, OneLake, Power BI 
  • Proficiency in SQL, DAX and/or PySpark 
  • Familiarity with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL frameworks 
  • Experience working with cloud data platforms (Azure preferred) 
  • Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate 
  • Understanding of data security, access control, and regulatory compliance 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities 
  • Detail-oriented and self-driven 
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new tools and technologies
