Position Summary
The role is within our UK Project Management Office. It is home-based and customer-facing, so openness to travel (subject to business needs and local safety restrictions) is required.
The expectations of the position are as follows:
- You will lead on projects, taking responsibility for all aspects of project delivery.
- You will work closely with Functional and Technical colleagues to deliver solutions and services that fully meet customers’ needs.
- You will work closely with customers; maintain good relationships and ensure projects deliver the agreed outcomes
- You will act as a role model for junior colleagues, with the ability to provide advice and encouragement to support their development.

Prerequisites
- Demonstrable experience of delivering multiple projects
- A minimum of three years of project management experience (ideally with SAP experience).
- Currently reside in the UK.
- Willingness to travel.
- A UK citizen or holding the necessary via and permits to allow you to work in the UK.
Your Responsibilities
- Managing projects of all sizes and multiple smaller projects simultaneously.
- Creating, executing and monitoring the project plan. Taking corrective action regarding timescales, budgets and resources to ensure tolerances maintained.
- Ensuring adequate resources are allocated to a project and are utilized effectively.
- Assigning tasks based on team members’ skills and experience, and leading the project team.
- Delivering all projects to the agreed commercial arrangements, raising exceptions when necessary.
- All stakeholder management, including customers, vendors managers and project teams.
- Requirements gathering to ensure that any solution is fit for purpose and meets expectations.
- Ensuring all project documentation – e.g., technical references, solution templates, solution overview slide decks, unit test plans, training materials, cut-over checklists are produced by the project team
- All aspects of Project budget; Including day to day monitoring, weekly reporting, identifying and managing budget-based risks and issues, following up outstanding payments with customers.
- All project and workstreams use relevant methodologies
- Managing all project risks and issues, including mitigating actions
- Producing and delivering high quality project reports.
- Managing all aspects of the agreed change process within a given project.
- All project closure activities, including appropriate handover and lessons learnt.
- Identification and communication of sales opportunities.
- Completion of mandatory company processes to ensure business needs are met – e.g., timely completion of timesheets, attendance of team meetings, completion of company training programmes (e.g., data protection, IT security, health & safety).
- Maintaining, and where possible, increasing personal skill levels through study, training, and certification activities.
- Developing oneself – e.g., keeping up to date with technologies and practices relating to areas of expertise, developing new areas and depth of existing areas through training and study.
