Position Summary

This SAP Support Consultant role within our UK Professional Services team, involves supporting our base of customers with their on premise and cloud SAP solutions, so it is essential that you are comfortable with flexible work assignments based on business needs. This UK role is home based with very minimal / if any travel (subject to business needs and local safety restrictions), but with a close virtual connection to engaged and supportive colleagues all over Europe!

Your Responsibilities

  • Configuration of SAP Payroll, handling change orders and service requests through C4C system (3. Line) and be an advisor to clients regarding best practice processes and set up in the system
  • All support for cloud customers  
  • 3. line support for teams i Operations 
  • Communication with different functional teams and departments in the organization.   
  • Describe challenges and change requests in cooperation with other units. Plan and handle testing 
  • Professional advisor for the teams in Operations  
  • Responsible for specific outsourcing-tasks needing senior competence and to ensure segregation of duties  
  • Participate in specific customer projects 
  • TDMS, copy data from ZED til ZEQ
  • Ad hoc tasks and projects
  • To solve problems and be a case manager for complex multi functional issues.
  • Train and guide other team members.
  • Performing any additional tasks, linked to the primary scope of the position

Skills

  • Managing client relationship, ensuring that sponsors and all stakeholders (internal and external) at agreed intervals are kept informed on progress and on any matters which they may need to make decisions
  • Ability to identify potential issues, raising these to the appropriate channels (Support Manager, Senior Project Manager, Project Coordinator) and providing possible solutions and approaches
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple parties (such as partners, programme work streams and other involved vendors) as one team
  • Excellent verbal and written English language skills, including ability to communicate complex concepts to an audience
  • Commercially aware of client arrangements and ensures that work is delivered within these constraints

Required education & experience

This role requires over 12 years of SAP experience in ERP HR and Payroll. The role requires good SAP HXM / HCM product knowledge, ability to act independently in many complex situations, guide others in the field and improve and influence work processes for the competence area.
Experience of working as part of a support team ticket handling to agreed SLA's, managing your own workload and priorities. The candidate needs to have strong knowledge of HR, specifically Payroll.
