I chose Zalaris’ trainee programme because it is a guided programme that's very future-driven and the way Zalaris structured the programme sounded interesting. Also, the concept of having some self-paced study periods and some guided hands-on sessions sounded very appealing to me.
After my certification, I was given the responsibility to collect the customer’s requirements and implement it in the system. This was a great experience because I’ve gained so much knowledge in a short period of time! I wasn’t left by myself at any point but whenever I wanted, I was given the chance to complete different tasks by myself. My colleagues are very supportive and are always happy to help and explain the different topics to us. After the programme, I had a better understanding of what I’m most interested in and together with my manager we tried to match my future projects with my greatest interests. The more you communicate and the more responsibility you are willing to take, the better the experience and the programme is. Of course, the programme was fun – it was amazing! Regular team calls and catch-ups either in person or digitally were a major motivation driver towards the end of the certification. I am more than happy to have received the opportunity to be part of the #teamZalaris. Not only did I find something I love doing but also, I got to meet lovely colleagues and friends.
